Umbilical Cord Tissue
The umbilical cord tissue is collected from a different stem cell usually located in the umbilical cord blood. Scientifically named mesenchymal stem cells (MSCS), which are extremely potent. This makes them different from other types of cells and tissues, including muscle organs and tissue, child cancer, skin, bones, and cartilage.
Many clinical studies were done at Stanford, offering this course, to study future treatments for many diseases such as diabetes type 1, bone marrow lesions and Alzheimer.
Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 2 (TIMP2) contains baby’s cord tissue, this protein works in the brain’s’ hippocampus, streamlining in an active matter, removing any corrosion from the old deformed stem cells.
